Ladies Night Out
Sunday, Oct. 20, 6:00pm
For nearly two decades Amanda Zwanziger chased the American dream of climbing the corporate ladder, rising to the top in her field, and securing a job that allowed her to travel around the world. While most thought she was “living her dream”, she was miserable. Her heart was not across the world, her heart was at home.
In 2016, God revealed He had a bigger dream for Amanda – He wanted her to minister to women. Inspired by the miraculous recovery of her husband following an accident in which he was paralyzed, and from the many years Amanda herself struggled with mental paralysis, the Paralyzed Movement was formed. Thanks to God’s blessings, she now practices God’s mission for a living.
As a Christian speaker and life coach, Amanda spends her days growing The Paralyzed Movement ministry by helping women rehabilitate what is broken in their lives and gives them tools to identify how God can help them move again. With her heart now at home, she has the free time to do the things that matter most to her…dates with her husband, cheering on their five teenagers in their numerous sporting events, boating, golfing and being an active member at Indianola Community Church in Indianola, Iowa.
Why Ladies Night Out?
Ladies Night Out is an opportunity for ladies of all ages and walks of life to come together to be encouraged and uplifted. If you’re a woman — 13 to 113 years old —this is the event for you!
Women today seem to be pulled in a million different directions, often feeling pressure to be the glue that holds it all together — this is overwhelming and exhausting. Put life on hold for a few hours for your soul to be fed. We truly believe this night will be a tremendous encouragement to you, and encourage you to invite your friends!
Don’t have a sitter? We’ve got you covered! Register online to reserve child care on site (don’t worry, they won’t interrupt your evening!).
Come enjoy fabulous food, worship, and encouragement from the Word with Ginger Hubbard.
Overcoming Mental & Spiritual Paralysis
In 2015, Amanda’s fiancé, Todd, was in a serious accident that caused complete paralysis on the right side of his body. Although doctors gave little hope of recovery, the whole family put faith in God’s promise that “he will be healed”. The miracle that transpired days following amazed them and their medical staff. But God didn’t stop there. God revealed to Amanda that Todd’s healing had a much bigger meaning and purpose: to help people overcome the mental and spiritual paralysis in their lives. Through her own testimony and God’s Word, Amanda reveals the power of God to heal the impossible in our lives.
